Stacie and Robert's Classic Celebration

Stacie and Robert's Classic Celebration - November 23, 2019

Stacie and Robert’s fall wedding was full of elegant and classic details. Artfully orchestrated by planner Lisa Stoner, the event was meticulously planned and stunningly executed.

Bride Stacie opted for a color palette of white and green. The beautiful white Phalaenopsis orchids and hydrangea provided a touch of warmth and elegance to the ceremony space, held at the First Congregational Church of Winter Park.

The bride’s draping bouquet of Phalaenopsis orchids was beyond stunning. It was the perfect complement to her gown which was adorned with floral lace detailing throughout. Every detail of Stacie’s look was perfectly polished, from the waltz length veil to her chandelier earrings.

The couple’s daughters assumed from role of Junior bridesmaids. The girls looked stunning in their pewter floor length gowns with white rose bouquets.

Following the ceremony was a lavish cocktail hour held on the lawn of the Alfond Inn. Guests sipped and mingled under the twinkle lights and setting sun.

The celebration concluded with a reception held at the Alfond Inn Central Park Ballroom. The tables were adorned with tall vases, overflowing with a mixture of orchids, hydrangea and roses. Antique votive candles in a variety of styles created a romantic ambiance as guests ate, danced, and raised their glasses the newlyweds - Mr. and Mrs. High.

For the Love of Flowers: Jenna and Stephen’s Stunning Soiree

January 12, 2019

There is no denying it…Jenna loves flowers.  And pairing that love with the love her and Stephen share was nothing short of magical when it came to their wedding on January 12, 2019 at The Alfond Inn.

The couple, who met in dental school and share a new practice, knew from the start that they envisioned a timeless, clean, yet modern look. It would be all white flowers with no greenery.

Lana and their wedding planner, Andrea Grier of Weddings Unique, knew it would turn out to be the perfect choice for their garden backdrop as the white contrast within the greens of nature would be breathtaking.

And it was.

Jenna and Stephen’s ceremony design was dramatic.  The women all carried lush complementing bouquets to accenting the overall look. Large planters filled with tightly packed white hydrangea welcomed guests at the beginning of the aisle and a large square arch at the altar with matching packed white hydrangea and roses was the piece de resistance - the perfect structure under which to say “I do!”

This structure was a quite a feat for the Fairbanks Florist team and one which would only get more purpose as the wedding continued.  Designed to be taken apart in three sections, this skillful design allowed the square arch to be transitioned into the ballroom for the reception.

Boasting itself behind the sweetheart table and providing an exquisite vignette for the wedding cake, this hydrangea-packed arch donned hanging crystals and candles with romantic drapery created behind it by Swag Decor for the reception - a complete wow for the couple and the guests!

To complement this jewel of the reception, tablescapes consisted of white hydrangea and roses, uniquely detailed glass and candle pieces, as well as mirrors and crystals to give just the right amount of sparkle.

The overall look was sleek, buttoned-up, and modern - yet, it all has a classic feel that will be awed for years to come.
